See, the credits sequence in issue #1 wasn't just for kicks. Oh, and JULIA IS NOT SEXY NAKED. She is Silver Surfer naked, except she is light glittery blue. This is still a PG-13-ish book, dammit.
Anyway, I stayed up 'til 1am last night doing white-out corrections so I could scan this today.
This is a page full of very stupid decisions -- I love how it turned out, don't get me wrong. But I was under a tight deadline, and everything seemed like a good, simple idea until I was ACTUALLY doing it.
Stat in old drawing of Omega Tower? Dumb. Took FOREVER to stat in Photoshop. Draw all of NYC for a shot of Julia looking for a horse? Dumb. Old concert posters in alleyway? DUMB. Oh, we're statting the MOON IN TOO? FUUUUUUUUCK, I'm so TIRED...
The final result makes me giddy though. It was pretty fun to do. Probably the fastest I've worked yet.
